AI chatbot for WooCommerce
Shoppers who can't find an answer about sizing, delivery times or returns usually don't email. They close the tab. SpideyChat learns your store's own pages and answers those questions while the shopper is still on the product page, and when someone needs a person it takes their details for your team.

How do I add an AI chatbot to WooCommerce?
To add an AI chatbot to a WooCommerce store, install the free SpideyChat WordPress plugin and paste your license key in Settings > SpideyChat. The assistant reads your product, shipping and returns pages and answers shoppers from them around the clock, so fewer people leave with an unanswered question.
Install it on WooCommerce
First create your assistant in SpideyChat and copy its code from the Install tab. Then:
- 1Download the free SpideyChat plugin: https://spideychat.com/downloads/spideychat-wordpress.zip
- 2In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip, then Install Now and Activate.
- 3Open Settings → SpideyChat, paste your license key (from License & websites on your chatbot's page) and click Save Changes. That activates the license for your website.
Good to know on WooCommerce
- Make sure your shipping, returns and FAQ pages are published and linked from the store. The assistant can only answer from pages it can read.
- SpideyChat answers from your published pages. It doesn't connect to WooCommerce orders, so it can't look up a specific order's status. For order questions it takes the customer's details and opens a ticket for your team.
- Install with the WordPress plugin (download: https://spideychat.com/downloads/spideychat-wordpress.zip). It loads the widget on every page, including product and checkout pages.
What it answers for WooCommerce sites
Typical questions it handles, answered from your own pages. When it doesn’t know, it says so and takes the visitor’s details instead of guessing.
- “Does this run true to size?”
- “How long does delivery take to Manchester?”
- “Can I return it if it doesn't fit?”
- “Do you have this in blue?”
WooCommerce questions
Can the chatbot check order status in WooCommerce?
Not today. SpideyChat answers from your store's published pages, such as product, shipping and returns. For a question about a specific order it collects the customer's name, email and order number and passes them to your team as a lead or ticket.
Will it recommend products?
It can point shoppers to products that your pages describe, for example which item suits a use case your product copy mentions. The quality depends on how clearly your product pages describe each item.
What does it cost for a WooCommerce store?
You can start on the Free plan. Busy stores usually need Starter ($9.99 a month, about 750 replies) or Pro ($29.99 a month, about 3,750 replies). The price is flat, never per conversation.
